Lyal E. Weaver Obituary

Lyal E. Weaver passed away on Saturday December 6, 2025 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Lockport on July 26, 1929, he was the son of the late Earl C. and Amy Brandt Weaver.  He served in the US Army from 1951-1952 during the Korean Conflict.  Lyal retired from Harrison Radiator in 1991 after working for 41 years.  He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard.


Lyal is survived by his wife of 74 years, Helen Wolbrecht Weaver; father of David M. Weaver, Kathy (Mark) Hughes, Joanne (Mark) Andrews and Karen (James) Green.  He is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  Lyal was predeceased by his sister Nila Weaver.


Friends may call on Wednesday December 10th 4-6 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street Lockport, where services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM.  Interment will be Cold Spring Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers memorials to FeedMore WNY
