Geneva K. Silsby passed away November 16, 2025, in Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born in Knoxville, TN on November 12, 1954, she was a daughter of Richard and Duley (Holland) Brandon.  Geneva worked for Verizon Communications starting as an operator at NYNEX and retired as a Manager in 2018.  She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Charles F. Silsby, son Neil (Amber Mahnke) Dymock, stepchildren Joshua Silsby, Kimberly (Stephen) King, and Jonathan (Carin) Silsby and brother Norman (Sally) Brandon, sister Mary Billanti, brother Robert Brandon, half-brothers Jason Brandon, and Ricard Brandon.  Her beloved grandchildren Kyia, Gwen, Faith, Jocelyn, Audrey, Emily, Eli, Lila, Sullivan, and Peyten.  Her special nephew Keith (Catherine) Billanti and special niece Kathryn (Jeffery Leonard) Billanti.  And her best furry friend Micah.

Over the past 15 years Geneva was an avid participant with her grandchildren in Cornell University’s Expanding Your Horizon Program.

 A celebration of Geneva’s life is planned for Saturday, December 13, 2025, 1:00-3:00 PM at Sean Patick’s Restaurant, 3480 Millersport Highway, Getzville, NY 14068
