Randy R. Bernardi passed away November 10, 2025, at Niagara Hospice House.  Born in Buffalo on May 13, 1954, he was the son of Serafino “Sam” and Lea (Cappellazzo) Bernardi.  Randy was the owner of Bernardi’s Rapid Mart, dedicating 56 years to the family business.  A lover of music, golf and the Buffalo Bills, Randy rediscovered his true passion later in life – the guitar – and enjoyed playing music with friends and bandmates.  More than anything, Randy loved his family.

Randy is survived by his sons, Ryan Bernardi and Gregory (Kathryn) Bernardi; siblings John (Susan) Bernardi, David (Debra) Bernardi, and Lorraine (John) Tomaino; also companion Sally Castle, lifelong best friend Ken Hyde, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife Veronica (Berger) Bernardi and grandson Harrison Bernardi.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, November 22nd at 10 AM at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.  Family will greet friends at 9:30 AM at the church prior to the mass.  In lieu of flowers, Randy’s family asks that you please consider a donation to Niagara Hospice in his memory.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 24th at the Rapids Volunteer Fire Hall, all are welcomed!
