In Loving Memory of Christopher Steven Sheldon

August 8, 1973 – October 23, 2025  Age 52

It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we share the passing of Christopher Steven Sheldon, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, and loyal brother, who left us far too soon on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Born on August 8, 1973 in Buffalo, New York, Chris brought joy, laughter, and kindness into every room he entered. His spirit, quick wit, booming voice and unwavering dedication to his family and friends were the cornerstones of his life.

Chris was a man of integrity and heart—someone who worked hard, cared deeply, and always put others first. Whether he was coaching his kids, lending a helping hand to a friend, or sharing a laugh, he made every moment count. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Molly Breen Sheldon; his children, Olivia Ann Sheldon and Brendan Christopher Sheldon; his parents, Ronald Steven Sheldon and Joanne Daley Sheldon; and his siblings, Joelle Sheldon Miller  (Steven)  and Lauren Sheldon Frechette (Thomas) and nieces Ally and Emma Miller. He also leaves behind countless family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Chris, a loyal Buffalo Bills fan and an avid golfer, graduated from Williamsville North High School in 1992. He went on to graduate from Buffalo State University in 1997 with a degree in Economics. He was fortunate to have had a career he loved in finance for over 25 years.

Captain of his high school football team and a college baseball player, Chris passed his love of sports on to his children and their peers through coaching youth sports in the Western New York area. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Willowbrook Golf Course, 4200 Lake Ave, Lockport, NY 14094 at 1:30 pm where those who loved him are invited to share stories, smiles, and tears in his honor.

Chris’s love for his family and his ability to find joy in simple, everyday moments will remain a lasting example to all who knew him. Though he is gone, his presence will be felt in the laughter, love, and memories he leaves behind.
