Herman Singleton Obituary

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father Herman Singleton on October 22, 2025 in Buffalo General Medical Center. Herman Singleton was born on April 24, 1939 in Savannah, Georgia to Lewis Singleton and Sarah Miller (Singleton). Herman married his loving wife of 62 years in 1963. They have two sons together Bernard and Alvin. Herman worked in Production at Harrison Radiator Division of GM Lockport. Retiring in 1999 with 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.


 


Herman leaves to mourn his loving wife Helen Singleton, his sons Bernard Singleton and Alvin Singleton, his loving niece Sharon Singleton, his goddaughter Yhandisha Thrist (Bernard), his grandchildren Martez Alston (Erica Levlzette), Shagenique Singleton, Darien Bell, Damon Singleton-Spencer, Amber Czerniecki, Jenna Spencer, and Dakota Baker. Herman also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, cousins and friends. Herman was predeceased by his two sisters Delores Singleton and Vumie Wright (Teddy) and his granddaughter Angelique Singleton.


 


Private services will be held at Prudden & Kant Funeral Home (242 Genesee Street Lockport NY, 14094). Burial services will follow in Acacia Park Cemetery (4215 Tonawanda Creek Road, North North Tonawanda, NY 14120).
