John R. Degnan passed away October 7, 2025 at Niagara Hospice House.  Born on April 30, 1947 in Lockport he was the son of Robert and Olive (Tabersham) Degnan.  John worked for Reid Petroleum in Lockport where he was a truck driver for over 40 years.  He drove a record of over 1,000,000 miles without an accident which was a huge accomplishment.  John loved the beach and traveling with his friend Dolly, he was living his best life in Florida. John had a passion for music and would pull out a guitar and serenade those near with his music often. He was predeceased by his wife Maureen (Corrallo) Degnan in 2017.

John is survived by his children Aaron (Heidi) Clarke, Jonas Clarke, and Amy (John) Biasucci; grandchildren Maxwell, Zachary, Madison, Macie, and Aria Clarke, Amelia and Nicholas Biasucci; sister Kathy (Bobby) Ford; also close friend Dolly Mathias and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation, Friday, Oct. 10th from 4-6 PM with services following at 6 PM all in Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
