Marlene M. Garvey Obituary

Marlene M. Garvey passed away October 2, 2025 in Sisters of Charity Hospital, Buffalo.  Born March 8, 1933 in Lockport she was a daughter of John and Mary Elizabeth (DiNicolantonio) Rinaldo.  She worked in production at Corson Manufacturing.  Marlene enjoyed working on puzzles and loved spending time with her family.  She was predeceased by her husband William Garvey and her daughter Diana Blake.


Marlene is survived by her sons John (Marianne) Garvey, Walter (Carol) Garvey, and Richard (late Josephine) Garvey; son-in-law Jeff Blake; grandchildren Michelle Cuillo, Mary Kloch, Kate Garvey, Mary Beth Sprung, William Garvey, Lindy Ann Richardson, Jordan Bates, and Cody Blake; twelve great grandchildren; brother John “Jack” (Dorothy) Rinaldo; also several nieces and nephews.  Besides her husband and daughter Marlene was also predeceased by her other siblings Richard Rinaldo, Paul Rinaldo, and Anna Strong.


A private graveside service will be held in Cold Springs Cemetery.
