Daniel Cole passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. His final moments reflected the way he lived his life, deeply connected to those he loved most. Born in Lockport, NY, on February 19, 1940, he was the son of Maurice ‘Scoop’ and Helen (Sullivan) Cole. Daniel worked for 46 years as a skilled oiler with the Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors, retiring in 2006. A man of faith, he was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. Daniel was an avid golfer and boater, spending many joyful days on the water at his cottage. He also bowled in a local league, where he met the love of his life. 

Daniel deeply valued time with his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Victoria (Golanka) Cole; his children, Trisha (Steve) Morse, Danny Cole, and David Cole; his grandchildren, Anthony (Erin) Cole, Eddie (Carly) Koban, Stefanie Morse, Kirsten Cole, DJ Cole, Abbie Cole, and Makayla Cole; and his great-grandchildren, AJ, Christian, and Nora Cole, Eddie, Sibella, and Kingston Koban, Allie Cole, and Kashton Snider. He also shared a special closeness with his brothers- and sisters-in-law, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Daniel was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Darlene “Doll” Johnston.  In the words of Daniel, "I put a lot of great people on this earth".

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Sunday, October 5th from 1-4 PM with services following at 4 PM all in Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to VNA of WNY.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
