Alene Stockwell passed away on September 26, 2025 at Lockport Memorial Hospital. Born November 18th, 1928 in Amherst, New York. She was the daughter of Raymond and Matilda Spoth.

Alene grew up on her family farm in Amherst, New York. She loved cooking, gardening, farming, and most of all spending time with her family.   She is predeceased by her husband, Harry Stockwell Sr. who passed away on August 5th, 1998. And by several siblings

She is survived by her children, Ellen (Robert) Johnston, Susan (Late Mike) Conners, Harry (Anita) Jr., Richard (Cynthia), William (Renee), and Thomas Stockwell. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and several great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her dog Barry.

Family and Friends may call Tuesday, September 30th from 4-7 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St, Lockport, NY 14094.

A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, October 1st at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd, North Tonawanda, NY 14120. Internment will  follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
