Robert Terhaar Obituary

Terhaar, Robert J., of Lockport, passed away September 24, 2025.  Born in Buffalo October 28, 1927, the son of John L. and Muriel P. (Baird) Terhaar.  Robert served in the US Army from 1946 – 1947 and worked at Westinghouse in Cheektowaga where he was a metal worker.  He enjoyed reading books and gardening.  Robert is survived by his children David Terhaar, Robert Terhaar II, Roberta Terhaar, Darlene Cooner, Jacqueline (David) Lincoln and the late Dawn (Richard) Leighton; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Robert Kolata.  Robert is predeceased by his wife Edna (Streebel) Terhaar in 2008, and siblings Charles, Edward, and Patricia Terhaar and Frances Mollosky.  Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Monday, Sept. 29th from 10 AM – 12 Noon with services at 12 Noon at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Donations to Niagara Hospice at www.niagarahospice.org or NYS Talking Book & Braille Library at www.nysl.nysed.gov  would be appreciated.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
