Ernest J. Ramsey, Jr passed away September 21, 2025.  Born in Glen Falls, NY on June 11, 1949 he was the son of Ernest J. and Marie (Oettinger) Ramsey, Sr.  Ernest served in the US Air Force from 1969 to 1973 and worked for Harrison Radiator for 30 years in production.  He was a member of the American Legion in Middleport and enjoyed bowling and partying with his children.

Ernest is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara (Mahnke) Ramsey; children Kevin (Jessica), Stephen (Kathryn), and Jamie Burnside; grandchildren Nathan, Andrew, Emily, Patrick, Elisha, Courtney, and Jacob; brother Richard (Belen); special friends Patty and Jesse.  Besides his parents Ernest was also predeceased by his daughter Lisa Stisser in 2015.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Thursday, Sept. 25th from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 26th at 10 AM.  Interment will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
