William Richardson Obituary

William A. Richardson passed away September 14, 2025 in Erie County Medical Center.  Born in Olean, NY on August 4, 1958 he was the son of Alfred R. and Patricia (Burlingame) Golden.  William was a long-time butcher who thoroughly enjoyed his job and retired from Washburn Meat Market in Lockport.  Bill was a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees. He had a great sense of adventure, loved going to Vegas and had numerous stories that shouldn’t be repeated.


William is survived by his step-daughters Kim Eberhardt and Kelly (Craig) Barr; grandchildren Bridget and Nicholas Masiello; siblings Alfred Golden Jr., Diane Alcock, and Beverly Waldeck; cousin BJ Burlingame; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Judith Richardson, and sisters Judy Abel and Joyce Trummer.


Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Sunday, Sept. 21st from 1-4 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
