Ruth S. Laese passed away August 25, 2025 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Buffalo on December 27, 1932 she was a daughter of Leland and Florence (Vogelman) Hooper.  Ruth enjoyed cooking and especially loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was predeceased by her husband Robert J. Laese, her sister Doris Wendt, and granddaughter Felicia Benedict.

Ruth is survived by her children Mark Robert (Suzanne) Laese, Debra (Dan Rankie) Oates, Paula Sue (Randal) Horanburg, and Lauri Ann (Dudley) Benedict; grandchildren Jason (Cindy) Neden, Melissa (DeShaun) Parker, John (Shannin) Neden, III, Robert (Shannon) Horanburg, Bryan (Katie) Horanburg, Stephanie (Joe) Rivera, Dudley G. (Kate) Benedict, Megan (Dave) Stickler, Renee (Phil) Ortoloni, Broderick (Jenna) Laese, and Riley Laese; eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; also brother Roy (Barbara) Hooper and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Friday, August 29th at 11 AM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
