Kenneth W. Maynard Obituary

Kenneth W. Maynard passed away suddenly July 24, 2025.  Born March 18, 1956 in Buffalo he was the son of the late Arthur and Gladys (Becker) Maynard.  Kenneth served in the US Marine Corp, being a Vietnam Combat Veteran, serving from 1974 to 1982 earning numerous decorations such as National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and Humanitarian Service Medal.  He worked for the City of Baltimore where he was a police officer.  Besides his parents Kenneth was also predeceased by his sister Susan Banes.


Kenneth is survived by his children Gregory Maynard and Christina Maynard; and grandson Zachary Evans.


Relatives and friends may call Friday, August 1st from 11 AM – 1 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Graveside service will be held Friday, August 1st at 2 PM at Western New York National Cemetery in Corfu, NY.    Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com
