Joseph LaRuffa Jr Obituary

Joseph D. LaRuffa, Jr passed away peacefully July 27, 2025, in his home after an extended illness.  Joseph served in the US Army from 1966 to 1967 and worked for the City of Lockport in the Waste Water Treatment Plant.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, YMCA, and Miller Tennis Center.  Joseph was an avid tennis player, loved going to the gym, fishing, traveling to Florida, and taking care of his pond.


Joseph is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Kubik) LaRuffa; sons Brian LaRuffa and Jeffrey LaRuffa; grandchildren Isabelle LaRuffa and Isaac LaRuffa; brother Augustine (Diane) LaRuffa; also several nephews.


Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Thursday, July 31st from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where military honors will take place at 7 PM.  Flowers gratefully declined.  Donations to the South Lockport Fire Company, 5666 South Transit Road, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.
