What an amazing caring man he definitely one of a kind. He was so great to us even after Ron left. Always knew he was there for the girls and I .the last time talked to him was at Ron's memorial service and the last words he said to me was I'll take care of you.

I feel so fortunate to have been a part of my Uncle Bill's life; he was truly one of a kind. He will always be in my heart, and I will cherish all the fond memories. I remember one visit to New York when I went up with my children, my sister (Kim) and her children. While visiting, I realized that even after being born in NY and after all of my annual summer visits, I still had not been on the Niagara Falls Maid of the Mist. At the time, to my surprise, I found out that Uncle Bill had not been on it either. We ditched our immediate plans, and I dragged Uncle Bill and Aunt April to come along with us. Another time they were going golfing, and I declined but Uncle Bill said, "No, you are coming to suffer along with us!" I will always appreciate how he showed special care and attention for my late mother, Paula, when she lived in assisted living. He would go visit her often and bring her magazines she enjoyed. My children and my nephews along with many others treasure the memories of being with Uncle Bill while playing pool basketball, winning bets and having access to the large containers of gumballs that were readily available.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to April and the entire family. Bill was a wonderful man, neighbor and friend! He helped us in so many ways. From donating the use of his flatbed truck for every one of both Krystal and Mark’s Homecoming floats to helping Steve yank out bushes from our front yard. He also sponsored Mark in many of his swimming competitions. His laugh was contagious and his smile and friendly demeanor infectious! My condolences to all of Bills family and friends. I didn't know Bill well. But what honestly stands out in my mind, Is back in the fast pitch days I was walking up to cutwater park softball diamond. There was Bill up to the plate he hit a pitch on a line drive shot straight over the center field fence. It may have been the hardest hit softball I've ever seen. Thats the way I'll remember Bill.

I sure enjoyed visiting with Bill. Whether it was at the shop or at Uncle G' s ice cream where I would make him an extra,extra thick strawberry shake. He was so funny and entertaining. Bad to the bone ( so to speak ! ). He helped me out of a jam many times. Another friend gone. He will be missed.

Papa we miss you so much already! One of my favorite memories of you was the summer KK and I were there and we would watch Hannah Montana all the time. You used to make fun of us so that year for your birthday I sent you a singing Hannah Montana card. You called me because it would not turn off and kept singing all the time (just to drive you crazy). We sent that birthday card back and forth for a few years to each other.
