Ella May Jones passed away July 18, 2025 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born November 23, 1945 in Lockport she was the daughter of William Jones and Lillian (Ponce) Martin.  Ella worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM for 30 years in production, retiring in 1998.   She was a lifelong Buffalo Bills and Yankees fan and lover of her daily soap operas. 

Ella is survived by her sons Dr. Anthony Jones and William (Lynn) Johnson, Sr.; life partner Bobby Spencer; grandchildren Brittany Johnson, Jalesa (Christopher) Holmes, William Johnson II, Irene Brown, and Teresa Brown; great grandchildren Skylynn and Nova Johnson; brother Charles (Lydia) Jones; also several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her siblings Rosemary (Henry) King and William “Butch” (Lorraine) Jones.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, July 25th from 5-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, July 26th at 10 AM at the First AME Church, South Street, Lockport.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
