Jean A. Dumais passed away on July 9, 2025, at Niagara Hospice House. Born on February 16, 1926, in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of John and Rose (Stale) Crosswaite.

Jean worked as a beautician from her residence and was also an excellent seamstress who enjoyed sewing. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Elie Dumais, and her son, Newton Dumais.

She is survived by her loving daughter, June (Dennis) Kuligowski; cherished grandchildren, Mark (Susan) Kuligowski, Linda (Travis) Mullins, and Kim (Andrew) Norris; and adored great-grandchildren, Lauren, Helena, Bryson, Mason, and Camden.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Monday, July 14, from 4–7 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Funeral services will be held at the same location on Tuesday, July 15, at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Mount Olivet Mausoleum.
