Please share a memory of Clara to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Clara A. Galbo (Auntie), 84, passed away on July 5, 2025 at the Niagara Hospice House after her courageous battle with cancer.  Clara was born on February 2, 1941.  She was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Frederico) Galbo.  She worked many years at Harrison Radiator.  After her retirement she was a lunch monitor at Charles Upson Elementary School for a few years.  She loved spending time with her family, especially all of her nieces and nephews.  She also enjoyed playing bingo, was a New York Yankees’ Fan, and liked watching all of the Buffalo sports teams, especially the Buffalo Bills.

She is survived by her nephew, Michael (Kathy) Tucker and niece Shirley (Tony) Weiland; Great Nieces and Nephews, Lisa (Neil) Stafford, Jennifer (Norm) Fuller, Michelle (Matt) Ferree, Michael (Hayley) Tucker, Anthony (Amanda) Weiland, and Jake (Ashleigh Burgio) Weiland; and eleven great-great nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Rosalie and Edwin Tucker.

We’d like to thank Niagara Hospice for the care that they gave to her these last few months, and especially the care at the Hospice House this past week.  We’d also like to thank her friends who spent time, and took care of her, you all meant the world to her.

Donations in Clara’s memory can be made to Niagara Hospice.
