James Thomas Hoste Obituary

James T. Hoste passed away July 2, 2025.  Born May 23, 1944 in Lockport he was the son of Kenneth L. and Helen G. (Weber) Hoste.  James worked in production for Corson Manufacturing in Lockport and then worked for United Healthcare Products.  He was a band member of the Bergholtz German Band, the Lockport Community Band, and Barker Community Band.


James is survived by his wife Judith (Bohnstadt) whom he married in 1978; his children Gregory Hoste, Tammy Hoste, Allen Hoste, and Cheryl May; grandchildren Christina (Christopher) Osborne, Jonathon (Sarah) Hoste, Allen John Hoste, Michael Hoste, and Tyler May; great grandchild Elijah Osborne; and sister Sharon Hoste.


Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Monday, July 7th from 11 AM – 1 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will immediately follow at 1 PM.  Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery, Newstead, NY.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com
