Obituary of Corey Jermaine Jackson

Corey Jermaine Jackson, Sr. left this Earth June 17, 2025 in Georgia.   Born on January 4, 1977 Rochester, NY, he is the son of Henry Lee and Stella Mae Jackson.  He was the grandson of Louis and Ora Mae Jackson and Robert and Erma Lee Clark.  Corey spent years working as a roofer and also worked for FedEx and Lyft.  He loved spending time with, having backyard BBQ’s,  just hanging out on the porch “chillin”. Corey loved his family very much. He was known to have named family members at birth and even given family members nicknames.  Corey was always happy and smiling even through difficult times.  His special friends to mention are Todd Sanney, Daniel “Silk”, O'Malley, Dalton, Mike, Milkman, Loydd, and Angie at the kitchen.

“Corey will be gone but never ever forgotten. Rest with your mom and dad, your bestie  nephew Derrick aka “Decky” “DD”, and your niece Brianne.”

Corey is survived by his Love interest and mother of his Children, Latasha Ford; children Corey Jr, Jujuan, and Nashia Gospel; grandson Jujuan, Jr aka “Buzzy”;  siblings Brenda, Robert “Bobby”  Alisa, Angela, Lonnie “Shabadoo”, and Ronald; also a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Friday, June 27^th from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be celebrated Saturday, June 28^th at 11 AM.  Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
