Obituary of Emily Galambos
Emily O. Galambos passed away June 10, 2025 in Elderwood at Lockport. Born April 20, 1928 in Gasport she was the daughter of Frank and Louise (Herl) Zagmester. Emily worked at Marine Midland Bank in Lockport where she was an executive assistant. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, and working on crossword puzzles.
Emily is survived by her children Barton Galambos, Susan (Peter) Hart, and Nancy (Roger Dixon) Galambos; grandchildren Bethany, Michael, Kevin, Gillian, and Jason; great grandchildren Amara, Xander, Deniz, and Gideon. She was predeceased by her daughter Sherrie Galambos, and siblings Mike, Mary, and Louise Zagmester.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sonia and Earlene for their exceptional care and compassion shown to Emily.
