Shawn M. Shanahan passed away May 27, 2025 in Tonawanda.  Born December 6, 1987 in Lockport he is the son of Rebecca (late Gary) Zimpfer and James (Lorraine) Shanahan.  Shawn was self employed doing home improvements.   Beside his parents he is also survived by his fiancé Samantha Knight; children Finley, Claire. Shawn, and Cheyanne; step-children Noah Aela, and Tobias; sisters Amanda (Michael) Wahlers and Sharon Dobson; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Saturday, May 31st from 12-3 PM with closing prayers at 3 PM all at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Shawn’s family for his children would be appreciated.
