Obituary of Robert P. Bowers

Robert "Bob" Paul Bowers, of Lockport, NY, beloved husband of Marleen (Johnson) Bowers, entered into rest on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Niagara Hospice House with his family by his side. He was born in Rochester, NY, on October 13, 1936, a son of the late Robert and Irene (Heary) Bowers.

Loving father of Lisa (the late Edward) Pettitt, Lori (the late Garry) Hoover, and Bonnie (Wallace) Dennis. Dear brother of John (Barbara) Bowers, and the late Richard (Carol) Bowers and late Gary Bowers. Cherished grandfather of Edward Il, Jessica, Jonathon, Andrew, Michael, Amanda, Thomas, Joseph, and the late Lorenzo. Proud great-grandfather of Alana, Nevaeh, James, Tyrone IlI, Robert, Baleigh, Elliana, Ayvah, Connor, and Summer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Robert worked for Harrison Radiator for 41 years as a Tool and Die and Model Maker. A devoted Jehovah's Witness since his baptism in 1962, he found great joy in sharing the good news from the Bible, especially the hope of an earthly resurrection and paradise on earth through God's Kingdom.

He enjoyed traveling with his wife of 62 years, Marleen, as well as vintage cars, woodworking, and spending winters in Florida. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family.

A memorial service will be held at the Lockport Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 352 W. Ontario Street, on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 3:00 PM, and on zoom 970 0928 5008 password 233 508.
