Dolores Marie Silsby Obituary

Dolores Marie “Dolly” Silsby passed away on April 12, 2025 in Fort Pierce, FL after recently celebrating her 90th birthday.  She was born in Bronx, NY to the late Lewis and Dorothy (Sampson) Herman. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael G. Silsby, her sisters Beatrice (John) Walker and Dorothy "Bobbi" (George) Cangro and her brothers Arthur Herman and Lewis Jr. (Sarah) Herman.  

Dolores had many jobs over the years but most enjoyed her career as a realtor in the Lockport, NY area. She moved to Florida after retirement where she was embraced by her Mormon Church friends. She loved to bake, play bingo, wear purple, drive red sports cars, and talk about her family history. She was a long time Buffalo Bills fan.



She is survived by her 5 sons: Dominic (Kathleen) Lemma, Joey D Lemma, James (Annette) Lemma, Jamie Silsby and Seth Silsby. She was the proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was Aunt to many nieces and nephews and a great friend to all. She will be deeply missed. 



Funeral services will be Royalton Cemetery on 4228 Orangeport Rd., Gasport, NY on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 3:00 PM.
