Marcia Earl Moss Obituary

Marcia (Earl) Moss of Williamsville, NY and Vero Beach, FL peacefully entered into rest on April 16, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Marcia was born in Lockport, NY, on January 13, 1942. She was the daughter of the late William H. Earl and Marjorie K. Earl. 


Beloved mother of Susan M. Ruh (Louisville, CO), Elizabeth E. Moss (Vero Beach, FL), and Lawrence C. Moss (Vail, CO). Grandmother of Sarah M. Ruh, Morgan M. Moss, Lucy E. Ruh, Oliver F. Moss, Benjamin F. Moss, and Peyton M. Wallace.  Her guiding principle was always “family first”. 


Marcia graduated from the St. Agnes School in Albany, NY, and Endicott College in Beverly, MA. She worked in retail merchandising in Boston, MA and Buffalo, NY.  Marcia was a passionate antiques dealer and collector of primitives as well as a prolific oil and watercolor painter. Growing up, she dreamed of being on Broadway and enjoyed summers in the Adirondacks on Big Moose Lake, NY. 


Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service to be celebrated Friday, May 2nd at 1 PM at Grace Episcopal Church, 100 Genesee Street, Lockport.  Marcia will be buried next to her parents at Glenwood Cemetery in Lockport, NY.  Donations may be made to Glenwood Cemetery or VNA Hospice of the Treasure Coast.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com
