James D. Finger passed away April 10, 2025 after a valiant battle with cancer.  Born November 26, 1954 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Elmer and Lorraine (Harris) Finger and brother of the Jacqueline Spinks, also deceased. 

James worked for 39 years at Myles Tool Co. where he was a machinist, retiring in 2019.  He enjoyed woodworking, music, and working on home repairs. He was a lifelong animal lover.

James is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Debra (Pedder) Finger; daughters Suzanne Finger and Kristen (Jared Matthews) Finger; cherished canine companions, Jack and Cooper.

Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, April 15th from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society or Akron Canine Rescue Angels would be appreciated.
