Kert A. Berner passed away suddenly April 1, 2025.  Born September 22, 1959 in Lockport he was a son of Maryann (Hammond) Berner and Late Roger (late Dorothy) Berner Sr..  Kert worked for Buffalo Gear for 47 years in Sanborn where he was a machinist retiring in 2023.  He collected sports memorabilia and sports cards.

Kert is survived by his wife Dana (Cline) Berner; children Alan (Samantha) Berner and Crystal (Jeffrey White) Berner; grandchildren Lilyana, Mason, Alison, Emily, Alexia, and Liam; siblings Roger (Maxine) Berner, Carl (Pamela) Berner, Angela (Rick) Eye, Gerald (Kimberly) Berner, Chuck (Denise) Berner, Ted Berner, Elizabeth (Jerry) Rauber; sibling in-laws Patsy (Lewis) Cunningham, Bonnie (Steven) Niezgoda, Phyllis (Donnie) Sparks; and many nieces and nephews. Kert is predeceased by his brother Eric Witsoe, and brothers in-law, Jerry (Linda) Cline and Ronnie (Dian) Cline.
