I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Rob's passing. He truly was one of a kind....smart, funny, compassionate, and so talented and full of plans. We shared a lot of laughter while we spent time exploring between Niagara Falls, Lockport and north to the lake. I include two photos of Rob from our adventures.
I offer my deepest condolences to Rob's family and friends, and pray that he is resting easily in Heaven.

My condolences to the family. I’m heartbroken bro. You have been my mentor for the past 15 years. I tried to text and email you for our next monthly session and got no response. You were one of the only reasons I flew back to western New York. Not only to work with you but to have discussions about politics, life and music. Your knowledge is unmatched and I feel you still had so much more to offer. I’m out here in Los Angeles confused and with a heavy heart. Just know I learned so much from you and I will carry that with me for the rest of my life. Rest in peace bro.

Dear Robert, you left this world much too soon. Just saw this and so sad to hear of your passing. I still talk about the days I worked at Barones Music with you, Bill, Ronny, and Min. I will never forget you especially when you played and sang 'sweet city woman' to me on the yukalale. Heaven has yet another angel. My condolences to Bill and family as Rob will be greatly missed.

I will forever recall Bobby's kind generosity in lending me his ARP Omni II synthesizer - a $2500 investment in 1976 dollars - to use for a week in a recording session, as a college intern at a Buffalo recording studio in 1977. No one else would have offered to loan that given the value of this state-of-the-art keyboard of its time.
He was quite a spirited, and fun loving guy during those wild times. We lost contact over the years however, I'll always remember the evolving musical dynamics and fun of the 1970's with him.
You left us too early, Bobby. However, you're in a better place now with your Dad, and Uncle Pete...

Dear Cousins Roseanne and Bill and Aunt Pauline,
I am so very sad to hear of Rob's passing. I think the last time I saw him was 1986 when I passed through on my way moving to California and spent a few days at Uncle Bill and Aunt Pauline's home.
I have such fond memories of him from when we were kids and spent our 1 week vacationing together with your family. I often think of him around our close birthdays as he was just 2 days older than me. Somewhere i have a photo of him when we were around 2 years old. I will try and dig it up. It's an old black and white grainy photo but what a cute little boy he was. He always struck me even when we were young of being a thoughtful, intellegent person. I am sure you miss him dreadfully. My heart goes out to you all.

We haven't lived in Niagara for decades but there were years when Rob and Doug and I spent a great deal of time together. He was a talented musician, a brilliant mind, a lovely friend, and always so, so much fun with my kids. I'm so very sorry.
