Debra S. Hood passed away suddenly August 23, 2011. Born July 3, 1961 in Lockport she was the daughter of Donald and Marilyn (Howard) Rutty. Debra worked as a medical technician for Occupational Medicine as well as the VA Clinic in Lockport. She was an active member Faith Tabernacle Church, Lockport. Debra was a devoted wife and mother. She was a fan of the Yankees, the Buffalo Bills and Sabres.

Debra is survived by her loving husband of 31 years James A. Hood of Pendleton; cherished mother of James M. Hood, Jillian Hood both of Lockport and Kimberly (Kyle) Jemison of New Orleans, LA; beloved sister of Gary (Andrea) Rutty of Wilson, Donald Rutty, Ken (Jean) Rutty, Patricia (John) Sanney all of Lockport and the late Sandra McCoy; daughter-in-law of Adrienne Hood of Lockport; sister-in-law of Mike (Ruth) Hood of Lincoln, NE, Jackie (Robert) Tower of Youngstown, NY, Bob (Cheryl) Hood of Lockport, Dennis (Diane) Hood of East Northport, Long Island, and Roger (Barb) Hood of Lockport; also several nieces and nephews.
