Ever sence my mom passed away in 2022 my uncle was there for me when i needed it the most from fishing to shoot birds with the b.b guns. As a Nephew to John I knoticed that he treated me more like a grandson. And I thought of him as more of a Grandfather than an uncle. All of the ways he got me up when I was down. He was my get-away driver if I was in trouble(lol), or my fishing buddy if I was bored. The old man taught me a lot from how to aim down iron sights to how to fillet a fish. He was my hero. Love you , you old fart have fun up there and tell everyone I say hi.
