Obituary of Robert P. LaPort, Jr.

Robert P. LaPort Jr., passed away on Monday March 17, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.  Born in Lockport on March 18, 1955, he was the son of the late Robert P. Sr. and Eugenia Carlin LaPort.  Bob retired from Harrison Radiator in Lockport in 2007 after 30 yrs.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Elks Lodge and the Navy Marine Club.  He enjoyed bowling, camping, the Bills, Sabres and Yankees.  He also enjoyed going to car shows with his 1978 Chevy Corvette.

Bob is survived by his dear friend and companion of 29 yrs, Jody St. Cyr; sisters Linda Wylupek and Debra Drake.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. 

Friends may call on Thursday March 20^th 4-7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 21^st at 10 AM in All Saints RC Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport.  In Lieu of flowers memorials to the American Heart Association or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.  Online Condolences at www.pruddenandkandt.com.
