
Obituary of Ann Marie Moje
Ann Moje passed away at her home March 5, 2025. Born in Buffalo, NY April 23, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Winter) Leising. She was predeceased by her husband who passed in August of 2019, David M. Moje who she married May 17, 1980. Raised in Pendleton most of her life, she went to Good Shepherd Catholic School for her elementary education and graduated from Starpoint Central in 1972. She then went on to get her nursing degree and became a registered nurse working at Lockport Hospital. Working most of time the pediatric unit until she had children of her own. Ann spent most of her time by her family’s side helping with events at the Wendelville Fire Company. A devote Catholic her entire life, she was very involved at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, where as a kid she would help clean the Nun’s house and later in life she helped start the St. John Newman Prayer Shawl Ministry that gave out hundreds of prayer shawls to those who need them. Ann had a love for crafts, especially crochet and quilting. She loved to try out new dessert recipes and was famous for her macaroni salad! Her favorite thing in the world was watching her grandsons grow, especially watching their school and team events.
Ann leaves behind her children, Jennifer (Peter) Chenier, late Elizabeth, and Matthew (Steven) Moje. Grandmother of Christopher and Nicholas Chenier. She is survived by her bothers David (Irene), James (Lori), Joseph, Daniel (Diana) Leising and Jane (late Chuck) Pfalzgraf. Daughter-in-law of the late Robert and Lauraine (Gregson) Moje. Sister-in-law of Randy, Cheryl (David) Wright and late Paul (Kathleen) Moje.
Family and Friends may call Monday, March 10th from 2-7 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 11th at 10:30 AM at Good Shepherd RC Parish, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Road, North Tonawanda, NY, 14120. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations in her memory to Good Shepherd Church.
