Obituary of Robert G. Thuman

Robert G. Thuman passed away February 27, 2025 in Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born October 6, 1955 in Buffalo he was the son of Rosemary (Winter) Coulson and the late James Thuman and step son of the late Ernest “Hop” Coulson and Dorothy Thuman.  Robert worked for General Motors Tonawanda Powertrain in Tonawanda where he was a welder. 

Besides his mother, Robert is also survived by his wife Helen M. (Spencer) Thuman; sister Paula (Tom) Rehwaldt; mother-in-law Shirley Spencer; in-laws Barbara Lamont, Brian (Michele) Spencer, and Bruce (Ed Fura) Spencer; also several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  He was also predeceased by his sister-in-law Linda Mulcahy and father-in-law Howard Spencer.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday, March 2nd from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A funeral service will be held Monday, March 3rd at 10 AM at Solid Rock Assembly of God Church, 8590 Rochester Rd., Gasport.  Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.
