Obituary of Jeffrey T. Ulrich
Jeffrey Ulrich, 48 of Middleport passed away on Saturday February 22nd 2025. Born on April 26 1976, he was the son of Thomas & Marty (Bateman) Ulrich. Jeff graduated from Royalton Hartland Senior High School and went on to graduate from SUNY Alfred and RIT with an Associate’s and Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Jeff met his future wife, Kelly Smith, in the summer of 1996 through mutual friends and family. Jeff and Kelly became a couple shortly after meeting and entered into marriage on October 14, 2000. Jeff and Kelly became the proud parents of Colleen and Christopher Ulrich.
In addition to his love and devotion to family, Jeff had many passions including racing, hunting, camping, cooking, classic car restoration and helping friends and family with any projects they were undertaking. Jeff was always known for his generosity and making every moment count.
Jeff was the owner of Hydro Fabrication Inc., a successful Middleport, New York business. His tireless work ethic and incomparable drive allowed him to build this business from scratch with everything he achieved always being shared with family and friends.
Those who knew Jeff well saw the impact being part of a small town made on his life. Jeff always believed in paying it forward, pooling resources for a common goal, enjoying the outdoors and building lasting relationships. He was always more concerned about the outcome than the credit.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kelly (Smith) Ulrich, children Colleen Ulrich (William Rickard) and Christopher Ulrich (Ashley Straker), sister Julie (Barry) Webber, parents Thomas and Marty Ulrich, son in law of David and Ann Smith, brother in law Sean (Kristen) Smith and sister in law Molly Smith (Jason Rivera). He is also survived by a niece, several nephews, and many other beloved relatives and dear friends. He is predeceased by his sister Jennifer Ulrich.
