Obituary of Geraldine J. Stapleson
Geraldine J. Stapleson passed away February 16, 2025 in Buffalo General Medical Center. Born May 16, 1933 in Buffalo she was the daughter of Casimir and Helen (Aleksiejczyk) Filarecki. Geraldine worked for Murphy’s TV & Appliance in Lockport for 45 years where she was the Supervisor of the Parts Department, retiring in 2017. She was a member of St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed crocheting. Geraldine was predeceased by her husband George Stapleson in 1996 and daughter Anita Stapleson in 2021.
She is survived by her children Michelle (Douglass) Waterbury, Carla (Mark) Aguglia, and Eric Stapleson; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call Saturday, February 22nd from 2-4 PM with a closing prayer at 4 PM all in Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
