Ed and I knew each other at A very young age. I was a bit of a dare devel and like to climb rafters. No to be out done , he would follow much to the chagrin of his parents. Unfortunately he followed and fell suffering an injury. Eventually he forgave me for leading him astray. We reunited in high school and joined a high school fraternity which gave us something to do in those formative years. I last remember Eddie at the fraternity’s 50 year reunion at Olcott beach. It was a great to see him and recollect our past lives in Lockport. His absence will be missed.

Ed Gailor - a man of solid character. He was a Camp Kenan counselor to my brother and I during Summer camp 1966, Cabin 5
The asst. counselor was a guy named John Chestnut. Each cabin group created a unique name handle. We were known as the Gai-Nuts (Gailor-Chestnut).
We had a ton of fun during those innocent years. Ed was more like an older brother to us kids, and then some.
We also remember the golfing years at the LTCC during the 60's & 70's.
Nonetheless, we're very saddened to learn of his sudden passing. He checked out too early. However, he's in a better place on the other side, now.
We'll all catch up with him soon enough.
Our condolences to Annette, the boys, and the entire Gailor Family.

I’m so sad and shocked to hear this. Ed and I were only a year apart. I have wonderful memories of family trips and just being together.
Ed was a unique individual with a wonderful sense of humor and dancing feet.
I’ll miss you Ed. But keep you forever in my heart. We certainly had lots of laughs.
Love, Your cousin Nancy
