Sharon Baughman passed away February 10, 2025, under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born August 26, 1949, in Lockport, she was the daughter of Reginald and Linna (Seward) Clack.  Sharon worked for The Birches Motel in Saratoga Springs, NY where she was in hospitality management.  Prior to that she was the hostess at “The Shamus” and also was an owner/operator with her husband “The Toll Gate Inn”.  She enjoyed working on puzzles, loved nature, being in the sun, and watching the birds.

Sharon is survived by husband of 26 years, Donald “Don” Baughman; children Shawn (Nancy) Murphy and Vicky (Thomas) Woodin; grandsons Shawn Murphy Jr. and Rhys Murphy; sister Sandra Watts; her cat, Precious.  Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her sister Margaret “Midge” Hamilton.

Lastly, our family would like to recognize Sherri Schultz and family, of Newfane, NY for their unwavering compassion, support and love.   

Relatives and friends may call Friday, February 14th from 4-7 PM at Prudden And Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Memorial donations to Niagara Hospice or Niagara County SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
