Lucy M. Farina Obituary

Lucy M. Farina, a long time resident of both North Collins and Lockport, passed away on January 6, 2025.  Born January 24, 1926 in North Collins, NY, she was the daughter of James and Angela (Telesco) George.  Lucy was the youngest of 8 children and the sister of Herman (Josephine), Daniel (Anne), Jacob (Helen), Frank (Lucy), Angelo (Mary), Patrick (Angela) and Anne Marie Caputi (Albert), all of whom have predeceased her. 


As a young woman, she worked for WGR as an executive secretary and it was there that she met her future husband, Anthony Farina.  After marrying, she relocated to Lockport and worked for Phinney Tool & Die in Medina, as a secretary and bookkeeper. Anthony predeceased her in July of 1993.


Lucy is survived by several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Saturday, January 11th at 10 AM at All Saints Parish, 76 Church St., Lockport.  Entombment will be in Glenwood Mausoleum.
