Kristine M. Adams, of Lockport NY, passed away unexpectedly November 22, 2024. She was 52 years old. Kris was born on February 26, 1972 in Lockport, New York, the first daughter of Mary Ann (Martino) Drew and Frederic Drew. Kristine is survived by her husband of 32 years John Adams; sister Denise Drew; and cherished niece Anna Sheehan.

Kris worked as a secretary for Lockport Board of Education, and prior to that she was the building secretary for Anna Merritt for seven years.

Kris was a 1990 graduate of Lockport High School. In 1993, Kris and her sister Denise spent a summer in Paris, France studying French at the Sorbonne. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from SUNY Fredonia. Kris also completed a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Canisius College in 1997. She devoted 17 years of her life working in mental health for organizations such as Parents Anonymous and Transitional Services. She dealt mainly with crisis intervention, client counseling and case management.

Kris had a unique personality and sense of style, and could be seen motoring around in her latest Mini Cooper. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, painting and reading. Kris was committed to a vegetarian lifestyle, and enjoyed cooking with local farm fresh foods. She adored her Hungarian Puli dogs, Roli and Maggie. Kris was predeceased by her other beloved Puli pups, Molly, Kuji and Spike.
