Dorothy Jean (Stevenson) Hill of Gig Harbor Washington passed away November 22, 2024, after a lengthy illness of Parkinsons and Lewy Body Dementia.

Dorothy was born on July 8, 1941, to parents Albert and Dorothy Stevenson of Lockport, NY. After graduation from DeSales High School, Dorothy obtained degrees in Nursing and Paralegal professions.

Dorothy was a nurse in Lockport and Newfane, NY and practiced her legal profession with Detroit, MI., and Seattle WA. Law firms.

In her spare time, Dorothy enjoyed many hobbies including walks on the beach looking for shells, gardening, baking, reading, making floral arrangements, taking care of her home, spending time with her family and collecting antiques.

Dorothy often looked after elder friends and neighbors and took pleasure in volunteering in her community.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Rolland Hill, a son (Brice Hill) a daughter (Tressa Hill) and five beautiful grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister and parents.

Interment will be at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery in Lockport, NY.
