Richard N. Rhinehart passed away October 28, 2024.  He was the son of Nelson “Jack” Rhinehart and Jeanette (Carlton) Rhinehart.  He continued his family’s tradition of farming and expanded it to become Rhinehart Farms which he ran for over 50 years.  Rick enjoyed passing on his farming knowledge to the next generation, coaching hockey, classic cars, attending his grandchildren’s activities and being a lifelong Bills and Sabres fan.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Richard is survived by his children Todd Rhinehart,  Amy Mott, Jack (Bianca Shama) Rhinehart, and Elisabeth (Andrew) Webster; and grandchildren Sidney Rhinehart, Madison Rhinehart, Joshua Rhinehart, Kristyn Mott, Alexander Mott, Jordyn Mott, Chloe Mott, Max Rhinehart, Rubin Rhinehart, Ryan Webster, Reid Webster, Charles Webster, and Adalynn Webster; sisters Jane (George) Knieser and Linda (late Phil) Baughman; former wife Sally Ennis, also several nieces and nephew’s.

Relatives and friends may call Monday November 4th from 4-7 at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, NY.  Funeral services will be celebrated Tuesday November 5th at 11AM at Warrens Corners United Methodist Church, 5293 Stone Rd., Lockport, NY 14094.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the church would be appreciated.  Visit Pruddentandkandt.com.
