Jean A. Strickland passed away December 21, 2023 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born April 19, 1953 in Fort Rucker, AL she was the daughter of Davis and Corrine (Metz) Lyle. Jean loved spending time with her family and friends, being in the sun gardening, and shopping. She was predeceased by her husband, Scott Strickland on December 8, 2016.
Jean is survived by her children Frank Hebert, Dawn (John) Hayden, Julie (Akbar) Chowdhury, Jean (Jim) Sammarco, Stephanie Strickland, and Scott Strickland; thirteen grandchildren Dailya, Christian, Alexis, Steven, Phillip, Nadia, Isabella, Amaan, Camilla, Penelope, Shannan, Dorien, Olivia, Austin, Sophia and Kai; three great grandchildren Preston, Leila, and Ozzy; siblings Clifton Lyle, Debra (Tim) Wilkinson, and Blanche (late Rhett) Wright; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, Dec. 27th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
