David P. Smith passed away November 30, 2023 in Buffalo General Medical center.  Born October 8, 1947 in Lockport he was the son of Robert and Florence (Pless) Smith.  David was a 1965 graduate from Lockport Senior High School and earned his Bachelors degree from SUNY Brockport.  He worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM where retired in 2007 as the Purchasing Manager.  David enjoyed life, fishing, woodworking and spending time with family and friends.

David is survived by his wife Anne (Conley) Smith; daughter Jennifer (John) Penna; grandchildren Stephanie and Nathan; brother Steven Smith.

Friends may call Saturday December 16th 1-4 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, where a brief service will follow at 4 PM.  Memorials to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, would be appreciated by the family.
