Marilyn E. Rockwood passed away October 9, 2023.  Born December 2, 1936 in Elba, NY she was the daughter of Arthur S. and Lillian E. (Borton) Potter.  Marilyn was a registered nurse working at Newfane Rehab & Health Care Center.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed attending church and The Temple, gardening, and was great at providing services to those in need.  Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Rockwood on June 29, 2016.

Marilyn is survived by her step-daughters Cheryl Werner, Lynn Santiago, and Ellen Hicks.  She is also survived by many dear friends.

Relatives and friends may call Saturday, Oct. 14th from 1:00-3:00 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Interment will be Monday, Oct. 16th at 10:00 AM in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Akron, NY.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
