Regina McClain Obituary

On March 24, 2011 Regina Karen McClain (58) surrendered to her Master's call to receive eternal rest . She was born July 26, 1952 in Lockport, NY, to James and Cecelia (Mills) McClain.


Regina attended and graduated from local schools and worked at Delphi Harrison Radiator (30 yrs in production) retiring in 2002. She loved laughing, enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, bowling and reading. She was also a member of the NAACP in Lockport, Friendship Baptist church, and contributed to several other charities and organizations.


Those left to cherish her fondest memory: Children: Kristin T. Johns-Price (Sylvester) of White Plains, NY and Lance P. Kutrybala of Kenmore, NY; grandchildren, Devin and Eliana Price; God-Daughter, Ariel McClain. She is also continued on by her Maternal Aunt and Uncle, Mary ( James) Kiner and Donald Watkins of Lockport, NY, several cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of other relations, friends and acquaintances.


Regina was pre-deceased in death by her loving parents, James L. and Cecelia (Mills) McClain and her brother Ericsson (Thelma) McClain, and her sister and brother in law, Linda and James Laster, all of Lockport, N.Y.


Regina will always be remembered as a beautiful determined woman, who was never a complainer, in spite of her burdens. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.


Regina touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life Ceremony for Regina will be held at The Tuscarora Inn, 128 Walnut St., in Lockport on Friday, April 1st starting promptly at 5:30 PM.
