David Broas Obituary

David Johns Broas passed away February 22, 2011 in Niagara Hospice House. Born February 29, 1932 in New Berlin, NY he was the son of Richard and Margaret (Johns) Broas. David served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War. He worked at Harrison Radiator from 1964 to 1988 where he was a supervisor. David was a member of the G-9, which is a manufacturing group.


David is survived by his wife of 36 years Judy (Bisher) Broas of Lockport; father of David (Deborah) Broas, Richard (Pam) Broas, and Marcella (Jeffrey) Whitman; grandfather of Nicholas, Natalie, Emily Whitman, Samantha, Jordyn Broas, Sara (Jesse) Presley and Katie Broas; brother of the late Beverly Jones; also survived by several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and Friends may call Thursday 4-8 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Donations to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated. Services

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the funeral home.

Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
