Leona Kureczka Obituary
Leona Kureczka passed away June 30, 2010 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born April 22, 1924 in Epping, NH she was the daughter of Charles and Bernice (Edson) Beers. Leona enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was predeceased by her husbands George W. Dietz, Jr. in 1967 and Michael Kureczka in 1997.
Leona is survived by her children Mark (Cynthia) Dietz, Charles (Gail) Dietz both of Lockport, Janice (Dennis) Croniser of Boonville, NY and the late Mary Ellen Dietz; grandmother of five and great grandmother of eight; predeceased by eleven brothers and sisters; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be Sunday at 3 PM in Lockport Alliance Church, 555 Davison Road, Lockport. Memorials to the church would be appreciated. Please visit www.pruddenandkandt.com to leave an online condolence.
