Sandra Weatherbee Obituary

Sandra Odetta Weatherbee, age 73 of Lockport entered into rest on Tuesday, March 2, 2009 at Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Sandra was born on January 23, 1936 in Friendship, NY to the late Lyman and Gladys Burrows. She loved to fish, bowl, play BINGO and going to the casino but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.


Sandra is survived by her sister Rosemary Peroni and brother Robert (Shirley) Burrows. She joins her brothers and sisters Larry (Shirley) Burrows, John Burrows, Donna (Dick) Despaw. Sandra was the loving wife of the late Clare Cecil Weatherbee and the devoted mother of Debra Dent, Diana (Robert) Bald, Danny Weatherbee, Darren (Alice) Weatherbee. She was the "dotting" grandmother of Lauritz (Christal) Dent, Jason (Bobby Jo) Dent, Nicholas Dent, Nichaela Odetta Bald, Austin Bald, Cassie Weatherbee, James Weatherbee, Laura Weatherbee and Charlotte Weatherbee; great grandmother to Keirstin and Dylan Dent. Sandra is also survived by her sisters-in-law Virginia Crooks, Corvin Weatherbee, Mable Taylor, Grace Weatherbee, Millie Aloro and brothers-in-law Chuck (Sue) Poole and James Poole; also survived by several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
