Eunice A. Cottrell Bassett passed away November 3, 2007 at Odd Fellow and Rebekah Health Care Facility.� Born May 25, 1912 in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of Wallace and Amanda Harms Johns.� Eunice worked for National Grinding Wheel in North Tonawanda in the mail supply department.� Eunice also enjoyed crocheting, reading, camping and traveling to Alaska, Florida, and Massachusetts.� She is predeceased by her husbands James Cottrell whom she married on June 28, 1930 who then passed away in 1969 and then married Chester Bassett on March 6, 1971 who passed away in May of 2007.

Eunice is survived by her daughter Sharon (Dale) Brown of Lockport and her son Duane (Deborah) Cottrell of Sanborn.� Grandmother of Shelly (Steven) Archie, Cherie (Ernest) Geiman, Darryl Brown, Dana Brown, Eric (Jennifer) Cottrell, Lori (Michael) Austin and Scott (Amy) Cottrell, and great grandmother of nine.� Sister of Phyllis Voss of Florida and the late Ralph Johns, Alvina Dowling, Willard Johns, and Louise Buicke.� Aunt of Gary Voss and Debra Rich.

Family and Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 AM.� Internment will be at White Chapel Cemetery.� Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
